Bathymetry Survey

Unveiling the World Beneath the Water.

Detailed Content

While much of our work happens in the air and on land, our Bathymetry Survey services focus on the underwater frontier. Accurate hydrographic data is essential for dredging operations, reservoir management, bridge construction, and environmental conservation. We use specialized sonar technology to map the topography of lake beds, river floors, and coastal zones.

Our survey vessels are equipped with Single-Beam and Multi-Beam Echosounders (MBES) that emit sound pulses to measure water depth with extreme precision. This data is used to create detailed 3D maps of the underwater terrain, identifying siltation patterns, underwater obstacles, and volume changes. For reservoirs, this information is critical for calculating water storage capacity and planning desiltation activities to ensure long-term water security.

In civil engineering projects involving water—such as bridge piers or underwater pipelines—our surveys provide the necessary data for structural design and scour monitoring. We also support the maritime industry by providing pre-dredge and post-dredge surveys, verifying that navigation channels meet the required depth specifications. Our hydrographic reports are compliant with IHO (International Hydrographic Organization) standards, ensuring global reliability.
